We decided at the last minute (i.e. mid-afternoon on July 1) to drive to Florida for the holiday weekend and attend a family reunion. We packed in record time and surprised my parents at the reunion! One of the highlights of the trip for the kids, sadly, was staying at the Days Inn in Phenix City, AL on the way down and eating breakfast at Waffle King. While Waffle King did have good waffles, we tried to explain to them that there are more exciting things in life!We didn't take many pictures, but here are some from the reunion. Many thanks to the people who provided the table centerpieces, which kept the kids occupied for much of the reunion.
