One of the great things about being a freelance writer is that I can take the kids with me on assignments, which I've been doing since they were infants. Today Molly went with me to an interview at a plant nursery, and we took some pictures while we were waiting for the real photo subject to show up.
T-Bone the dog also accompanied us today.
Molly got her face painted recently at a health food store "kids eat free" night, where the store had brought in a face painter to increase the crowds. The line of kids was really long, and I couldn't even tempt Molly to trade her space in line for a cookie so we could leave!
After waiting half an hour to have this dog painted on her face, we drove home and she washed it off in the bath.

We have never been so happy for the arrival of spring and strawberry season. Molly and I usually share a pint of strawberries a day, and yesterday we found this giant mutant strawberry and decided to take some pictures of it before we ate it for dessert.
